Blues -Jazz -Country

What is the difference between jazz and blues? Jazz comes from the blues. Jazz is basically the blues of African Americans that has mixed with white American music, transforming itself into a separate genre that still maintains much of the blues on a harmonic level. The blues is the basis of all modern Western music.

Country, also called country music, country and western or country-western, is the result of the union of popular forms of American music developed in the southern United States. It is often identified as a musical genre in its own right.
